Leesburg man, 73, dies in collision with pickup truck

A tragic accident claimed the life of a 73-year-old man in Leesburg on Wednesday. According to the Leesburg Police Department, David Reno was killed when a pickup truck collided with his vehicle near Perkins Street on U.S. Highway 441 around 11:40 a.m.

Reports indicate that Reno was heading north on US 441, preparing to make a left turn onto Perkins Street when the collision occurred. The other vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old man from Leesburg, was traveling south on U.S. 441 when it struck Reno’s car.
