Lawmaker Drucker thanks Plainview-Old Bethpage and Jericho students for creating Valentine’s Day cards for the elderly

Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) has teamed up with Plainview-Old Bethpage and Jericho school districts to deliver Valentine’s Day greeting cards to residents of the residences at Plainview and The Bristal in Jericho on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

As part of the From Your Heart to Our High School Students project, Plainview-Old Bethpage and Jericho School District students used their creativity and holiday spirit to create hundreds of cards, each with a warm message of love and well wishes. . The cards were then delivered to the elderly during Valentine’s Day events.

“It was absolutely wonderful to see how our students responded with such enthusiasm to an initiative aimed at spreading love and kindness in our community,” lawmaker Drucker said. “I hope these heart cards brought a smile to the faces of everyone who received them and showed our young people that simple acts of kindness and compassion can make a positive difference in our community. Thank you to all our students for making Valentine’s Day for our seniors a little more special with these cards!”
