Kinky Scoops founder used ‘orgasmic’ ice cream instead of sex

Ice cream makes her scream – in bed.

In March 2020, Lyuba Dudenko was in a serious car accident and suffered fractures to her back and pelvis. She landed in a wheelchair for four months – and sheet dancing was out of the question when she got better.

Dudenko soon realized that making ice cream was a sweet sexual substitute.

She had just founded Kinky Scoops two months earlier – with exotic frozen flavors like Pop the Cherry, Snuggle in Bread and Sugar Daddy.

After a horrific crash on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway while sitting in the back seat of an Uber, the Williamsburg resident spent two months in the hospital where surgeons set her back with screws.

Back home, 29-year-old Dudenko had to learn to deal with the constant pain and lack of sex. She found doses of stimulation.

“When I was making ice cream, I was like, ‘You know what, this gives me everything that sex gives me.’ . . And I have to tell you, when you find this perfect combination of ingredients and flavors, it’s an orgasm. You have this tingling inside your body.

Now that she is, so to speak, back on horseback and “actively dating,” Dudenko says she took her ice cream to the boudoir.

“This is a test kitchen,” she said, laughing. “There are so many fun things you can do with it. It’s cold and it’s teasing.”

The accident settlement helped her develop her young business, which began when she finally opened an ice cream parlor her mother had given her years ago.

Now she cooks every scoop — each box costs $11 — in the Greenpoint kitchen with real chefs. Ingredients are sourced locally, from places like Noz Market on the Upper East Side.

Some of her flirtatious scents include Stimulation, topped with chocolate-dipped coffee beans; “Like a Virgin”, which contains extra virgin olive oil; “Orguasm” filled with guava paste; “Pop the Cherry”, mixed with maraschino cherries and dark rum; and “C Lime Max”, infused with lime juice.

For Valentine’s Day, she introduces Brie Mine, made with real French cheese, lemon juice and salt.

“We really wanted to stay away from this traditional image of a cow and a child eating ice cream,” she said. “Ice cream, I think, is an aphrodisiac.”
