Kim Kardashian set on fire for 2-hour Harvard speech: ‘It’s fun’

On Friday, Kim Kardashian came to Harvard Business School as a guest speaker to talk about the success of her multi-billion dollar shapewear business SKIMS, but the internet wasn’t thrilled about it.

A film crew followed her as a reality TV star, and SKIMS co-founder Jens Grede arrived to speak with Boston students enrolled in the Moving Beyond Direct to Consumer course, her rep confirmed to The Post.

While NBC10 Boston reported that some workshop attendees gave Kardashian an A for her almost two-hour speech on SKIMS, which was valued at $3.2 billion just a year ago, Twitter trolls criticized the in-training lawyer and Harvard itself for inviting “talentless” businesswoman first.

“This is fun. @KimKardashian can’t text @Harvard,” said one critic. wrote celebrity and her appearance, which lasted about an hour and 45 minutes.

Many users wondered what advice Kardashian gave, since she herself does not have a higher education.

However, a student named Liz told NBC10 Boston that she learned a lot from the Kardashians.

“I think a lot of people don’t respect her as someone who is one of the leaders of a multi-billion dollar company,” she told the publication.

“Learning from someone who built such a successful business was really exciting, and I think the privacy without cameras in the room, the opportunity to have a frank conversation, was also special,” Liz added.

The Post has contacted Harvard representatives and professors for comment.

Although Kardashian didn’t attend Harvard Law School – despite actively studying to be a lawyer – she recreated Reese Witherspoon’s “Legally Blonde” Harvard introductory video for Halloween in 2019.

She also accompanied her then fiancé Kanye West when he spoke at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2013.
