JonBenet Ramsey’s murder house is up for sale for $7 million

The sprawling Colorado home where JonBenét Ramsey was found murdered decades ago is up for sale for nearly $7 million, according to a new listing.

The 6-year-old beauty queen’s body was discovered by her father, John Ramsey, in the basement of a “stately” five-bedroom Boulder home that sits on a quarter-acre of land, according to a Zillow ad listing the property.

“Stunning attraction with stunning views of the Flatiron,” boasts an ad that lists the $6.95 million home. “Epic place in Boulder, on three sites.”

The brick home also boasts a “deluxe gourmet kitchen”, a wine cellar and “a spacious brick patio,” according to the description, which doesn’t mention the home’s heartbreaking history.

JonBenét was reported missing on the morning after Christmas 1996 by her mother, who found a strange ransom note demanding $118,000 in exchange for a baby.

Since then, the girl’s case has become one of America’s most tragic and unsolved true crime mysteries – her family was plagued by suspicions before they were cleared by prosecutors in 2008.

According to The Denver Post, which first reported that the house was up for sale again, the Ramseys bought the house in 1991 for $500,000 and sold it in 1998 to a group of investors for $650,000.

In 2001, the address of the property was changed and large trees and fencing were added to prevent toilets as the craze grew.

The A-shaped house was bought three years later for $1.05 million by its current owners, Tim and Carol Schuller Milner, daughter of Hour of Power televangelist Robert Schuller.

In its current listing, the house is described as having “timeless appeal in an unrivaled location.”

“A stately and modernized 1920s Tudor estate in a legendary location in Boulder, on three lots, stunning curb appeal with stunning views of the Flatiron,” the ad reads. “Surrounded by luxury homes, a lovely walk to Pearl Street shopping, restaurants, CU and easy access to Denver.”

Before it hit the market last week, the 7,240-square-foot home last sold in 2014 for $2 million.

No one has been charged in this case and is still under investigation.
