Investigation Launched into Lawrence Township Shooting

Lawrence Township, NJ – In a tragic incident that occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, a 36-year-old Lawrence resident was fatally shot in his home. The victim, identified as Anthony Irizarry, was found in the living room with a gunshot wound to his back. He was quickly transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Lawrence Township Police received a 911 call reporting the shooting and responded promptly to the scene on Mendrey Court.

The investigation into this heinous crime is being led by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force in collaboration with the Lawrence Township Police Department.
