In Primorye, a man was detained on suspicion of raping an unconscious woman

Seaside, California. (KION-TV) — Seaside police said they were able to convince a rape suspect to report to the station on Monday, where he was arrested.

The police said that on February 6, the victim contacted them and reported that a rape had occurred. According to the victim, the alleged suspect was 25-year-old Ángel Geronimo-Merino.

Officer Pulido mustered enough good reason to arrest Jeronimo-Merino. He was placed under arrest for raping an unconscious man, the Maritime police said.

He was also placed under arrest for a past warrant for drunk driving.

He was imprisoned in the Monterey County Jail. His bail is set at $107,500.
