According to history.com, the Irish have been celebrating this holiday for over 1,000 years in honor of Saint Patrick, who lived in the fifth century and is Ireland’s patron saint and national apostle.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Classic Car Show

The 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Classic Car Show will be held March 18 at Grace United Methodist Church on Merritt Island from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

There will be classics, muscle cars, hot rods and antique cars with music, food trucks and entertainment for everyone.

Shamrock shuffle 3K

The 4th annual Shamrock Shuffle is a fun 3k run through Melbourne city center on Friday, March 17th at 8:00am.

Irish pub crawl Pratice Day

7th Annual Irish Pub St. Practice Day in Melbourne city center will begin on Saturday, March 11, and will run from 17:00 to 22:00.

Starts at Drews Brews, then Lumber Jack’s, Debauchery, Meg O’Malley’s and Mugsy’s follow. There will also be a 50-50 Drawing for Children’s Hunger Project.

St. Patrick’s Day Program – George Mann

This event will take place at the Flagler County Public Library on Friday, March 10 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day Festival in Spanish Springs will take place on Friday, March 17 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Spanish Springs Town Square, located at 1120 Main St.

The Irish Party will include live entertainment and food such as corn, pretzels, burgers, hot dogs and a family friendly concession stand.

Irish musicians The Byrne Brothers will take part in the event. It will also showcase roving victory performers, bagpipers and acrobatic entertainment company We Flip.
