‘Horror video’ shows Amazon delivery driver being mugged in Orange County

ORLANDO, Florida. — Two men were arrested after a video showed them robbing a delivery driver in Orange County on Jan. 13, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said they were stopped by a witness after an Amazon delivery driver was robbed near the Caden Apartments on Americana Boulevard.

The driver told deputies that as he was getting into his van, a man later identified as 23-year-old Arkimaz Divinar got into the car and began to threaten him with a firearm, demanding that the driver hand over his belongings to him, deputies said.

After taking things, the robber escorted the driver to the cargo compartment of the van and began to pick up the parcels, as video surveillance shows.

The affidavit states that another man, named 24-year-old Joel Em, got into the van and began taking packages as well. The two suspected robbers got into another van and fled the scene, police said.

Deputies posted a “horrifying video” of the robbery on social media, adding that the driver was unharmed.

According to the sheriff’s office, the police eventually managed to track down and capture Divinard and Aime.

Divinard has been charged with robbery with a firearm and is not on bail. Amy is charged with burglary and is being held on $2,500 bail.
