HCSO: Child dies after being hit by car in north Houston driveway

HOUSTON. A child died Friday after being hit by a car in the driveway of a north Houston home, Harris County sheriff’s deputies said.

A family member was moving the vehicle to give the children more room to play when the child was hit, deputies said.

Rescuers arrived at the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The child was then taken to the hospital, where she died.

No other details were given.
