HCSO: 1 killed in head-on collision in northeast Harris County

The sheriff said the man, who may have been intoxicated, was speeding and veered into the oncoming lane, where he crashed head-on into a woman.

According to them, the man died, and the woman was seriously injured.

Tidwell will remain closed while MPs investigate.

Preliminary information: the man, possibly in a state of intoxication, was driving at high speed, could not keep the car moving in one lane and turned into the oncoming lane, which led to a head-on collision with another vehicle. The female driver of the car was seriously injured.
