Gulfside Twelve Construction Underway at Fort Myers Beach
Fort Myers Beach, Florida. On Thursday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in honor of the first phase of construction of a new luxury residence in Fort Myers Beach.
Gulfside Twelve is being built on the same site as the old Carousel Inn.
The hotel was damaged and closed after Hurricane Yang, but demolishing the hotel was always the plan.
Developers bought the property before the hurricane.
The Karusel Hotel, which was part of FMB’s history, was demolished.
Gulfside Twelve will have 12 luxury apartments starting at $4.1 million each.
The first units are scheduled to open by the summer of 2023.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 2 at 9:30 am. Developers and officials of the region will be able to see the project for the first time.
