Gray and cool, chance of rain returning to Central Florida

ORLANDO, Florida. – Most of Saturday will be cloudy, and in the afternoon the chance of rain will increase.

The greatest chance of rain will be concentrated north of Orlando.

About 0.5 inches of rain can fall northwest of I-4.

Incessant rain will keep temperatures in the mid-60s north of Orlando. There will be several scattered showers in Orlando and the south, with an overall chance of rain of about 40%.

For Orlando and the South, the highs will rise to the upper 60s and low 70s where it will be relatively dry.

All of Central Florida is drying up and warming up thanks to more sunny Sundays. The highs return to the upper 70s and lower 80s.

This weekend will be the beginning of a seven-day up and down stretch. After the 80s on Monday, the temperature drops to the 60s and back to the 70s on Monday. After a short warm-up on Tuesday, another strong gust of cold air hit the Sunny State at the end of the following work week and weekend.
