Golden Gate Bridge closed in both directions due to overturned drilling rig

The Golden Gate Bridge is closed in both directions early Saturday evening due to an overturned large drilling rig.

Ambulance crews and the California Highway Patrol are on the scene.

#TRAFFICALERT: All lanes on the US 101 Golden Gate Bridge are blocked due to an overturned large cart. SB US 101 from Marin City to San Francisco County and NB 101 on State Route 1 are closed to traffic.
