Getinge to Move to Innovation Park Complex in East Windsor

East Windsor Township, NJ – In a recent announcement, Mayor Janice S. Mironov, along with several council members and executives from Getinge and Ares Industrial Management, revealed that Getinge, a renowned global medical device technology company, will be occupying the entire newly constructed 167,500 square foot building in the Innovation Park complex. This complex is situated on Princeton-Hightstown Road in East Windsor Township.

Founded in Sweden in 1904, Getinge specializes in providing innovative equipment and systems to the healthcare and life sciences industries. Their products aim to improve people’s quality of life and save lives. By utilizing digital advancements, Getinge is creating an enhanced work environment for healthcare staff, simplifying their work processes, increasing productivity, and ultimately saving more lives. Their devices and systems are used in various healthcare settings such as intensive care units, cardiovascular procedures, operating rooms, and sterile processing.

With over 11,000 employees operating in 40 countries and serving 25,000 customers in more than 130 countries, Getinge is a global leader in the medical device technology industry. The new facility in East Windsor Township will join their production centers in France, China, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Mayor Mironov expressed her excitement about welcoming Getinge to East Windsor, stating that the company aligns perfectly with the township’s vision for the Innovation Park complex. She also highlighted the strategic location of East Windsor, situated between New York and Philadelphia, with excellent access to major transportation networks. Additionally, the availability of highly skilled labor and a business-friendly local government environment have contributed to the township’s success in attracting high-tech and pharmaceutical-related corporations.

Frank Kozar, Getinge Vice President, Logistics Americas, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing medical devices that save lives and expressed enthusiasm about opening their new center in East Windsor. Kozar also commended the warm reception they have received from Mayor Mironov and the township leadership.

Jim Murray, Managing Director and Head of US Development for Ares Industrial Management, the owner and landlord of Innovation Park, expressed his satisfaction with Getinge’s decision to lease the full building. Tenant improvements are already underway, and occupancy is expected by the end of the year. Murray praised the synergy between Getinge and the park, emphasizing their mutual commitment to excellence.

The newly constructed Innovation Park is situated on 86.97 acres, previously occupied by McGraw Hill. It consists of two modern buildings designed to attract innovative high-tech and pharmaceutical-related businesses. The park incorporates unique architectural features, extensive outdoor public spaces, and a walking pathway adorned with deciduous, ornamental, and evergreen trees. These amenities, including benches and landscaping, contribute to the park’s contemporary and welcoming atmosphere.

The opening of Getinge’s new facility in Innovation Park marks another milestone in East Windsor Township’s growth as a hub for high-tech and pharmaceutical industries. The collaboration between the township, Getinge, and Ares Industrial Management highlights the continued efforts to attract world-class businesses and foster economic prosperity in the region.
