George Santos’ outlandish resume touts ‘3.89 GPA’ and doubling of Goldman Sachs revenue

The resume submitted by disgraced Rep. George Santos (RN.Y.) to the Nassau County Republican Committee in 2020 includes outlandish and already debunked boasts related to his education and work experience.

The summary obtained by the New York Times was submitted to the Nassau County Republican Party by Santos when he first expressed interest in running for his 2020 New York seat.

It is replete with Wall Street jargon and is, for the most part, pure fiction.

Santos describes himself as a “Proactive Business Development Specialist” with “an extensive proven ability to optimize bottom line.”

A New York 3rd District official who lied about owning 13 properties lists “real estate” as one of his skills, along with “currency and coin counter” and many other alleged talents.

LinkBridge Investors is listed as Santos’ most recent employer, and he claims the firm’s revenue grew “24 times (from $450,000 to $11 million)” during his tenure as vice president. In terms of campaign finance disclosures, Santos revealed he received a modest $55,000 salary from LinkBridge Investors.

The resume also lists a fake 8-month experience as a project manager at Goldman Sachs, where he boasts of doubling hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue growth “from $300 million to $600 million” and developing a “new sales strategy” for his division.

His fake Wall Street job at the Citi Group is listed on the second page of the document, along with sections on his “education and training.”

The entire contents of the second page of Santos’ resume appears to be an outright lie, which he confessed to The Post back in December.

He is touting an MBA in International Business from New York University and points out that his GMAT score is 710. “Top 1% in class.”

Santos told The Post that he never went to college.

The exponential drop in resumes came on the same day that the head of the Nassau County Republican Party and several Republican congressmen called for Santos to resign.

Nassau County Republican Chairman Joseph Cairo on Wednesday demanded that Santos resign, saying he had “dishonored the House of Representatives” and waged a campaign of “deceit, lies and fabrications” to win his 2022 midterm presidential race.
