George Santos’ District Office in Queens Vandalized with Gold Paint

The Congressman from New York became the object of vandalism at the end of another scandalous week.

Police confirmed Friday that someone had delivered gold spray paint to Rep. George Santos’ district office in Queens.

A photo posted online shows paint being sprayed onto the front window of his office on North Boulevard in Douglaston.

The NYPD said officers responded to reports of vandalism around 10 a.m., but there were no reports of any arrests. It was not immediately clear if the police had a description of the suspect.

As of Friday afternoon, Santos has not shared any statement regarding the matter.

The incident came the same week that a new poll showed Santos had little to no public support among his constituents, he withdrew from two House committees to which he was appointed, and the FBI confirmed its investigation into the allegation that Santos stole thousands of dollars raised for the veteran’s dying dog.
