GenerX Generators Helps Energized Electric Client After Company Files for Bankruptcy

FORT PIERCE, Florida. A Port St. Lucie couple finally got a generator after Jupiter stepped in to help when Energized Electric stopped work.

After a year of waiting, Annette Speech was finally able to fill the empty space in her backyard.

“This is our new generator,” Speech told Contact 5.

Contact 5 met Speech for the first time back in November.

“We didn’t think we would ever see a generator,” she said.

Speech and her husband spent about $10,000 on Energized Electric in Fort Pierce, according to receipts they showed Contact 5, and they never received their generator after a year of waiting.

“It got to the point where they didn’t answer the phone or contact us in any way,” Speech said.

Their story reached Stan Sarzinski with the GenerX generators on Jupiter.

“I actually saw this story on the news at home,” Sarzinski told Contact 5.

He said it inspired him to complete Speech’s original contract at no additional cost.

“We just wanted to, you know, get out into the community, help our neighbors, and generators are obviously our passion,” he said. “So we wanted to see what we could do to help them.”

Dozens of other Energized Electric customers called Contact 5 after seeing the Speech story and saying they were in the same boat.

Margaret and Gary Cabral spoke to Contact 5 at the end of February. They showed Contact 5 their Energized Electric contract they signed last February and proof of payment. They also spent thousands of dollars on the company.

“I felt sorry for this other couple because ‘Oh my God, someone else is in the same boat as us,'” Margaret Cabral said.

A customer statement posted on the Better Business Bureau website, Energized Electric states:

“Due to Covid, unforeseen circumstances, the sudden abandonment of an investor, Energized Electric realized that they must demand Chapter 11 to help Energized Electric reorganize the company in time. We continue to install generators, tanks and work. We have a list of each client, and we will continue to contact each client as their name appears on the list, the installation date approaches, and the provisional date becomes clear.”

The GENERATOR SERVICE department is still running smoothly. We serve and will continue to serve all of our generator maintenance plan customers with our 7 field technicians.

Once again, we apologize for the delay and greatly appreciate your patience. Sincerely,

Electricity under voltage

There are currently four open lawsuits filed against the company, according to St. Lucie County court records.

According to the BBB website, Energized Electric has also lost its BBB accreditation.

“Contact us,” Sarzynski said. “Of course, we can’t help everyone in every situation, but we can do our best to find out what we can do to complete your project.”
