Austin’s New Year Celebration
Auditorium Shores

The City of Austin is once again hosting its annual Austin New Year celebration at Auditorium Shores. The free, all-ages event will showcase live music from local artists El Combo Oscuro, Taméca Jones, and The Texas Gentlemen, with interspersed drag performances by Extragrams. It all starts at 6 p.m. aqnd concludes with the firework show at midnight. More details can be found here.

New Years Eve Day Party
St. Elmo Brewing

Celebrate the new year with a fun-filled and family-friendly day party at St. Elmo from 12 to 6 p.m.! They’ll have music, face painting, and balloon animals! Ring in the new year at 4 p.m. with a balloon-drop and a champagne toast. Miss Jellybean will be on-site for face painting and balloon animals for the kiddos and DJ Chikn Biskit will be spinning kiddo tunes from 1 to 4 p.m.!

Glow In The New Year
Pease Park

The Phoenix, Communities for Recovery, Recovery ATX, and Pease Park Conservancy are coming together to bring you a sober New Years Eve party with music, give aways, glow sticks, dancing, and more! Meet at the Tudor Cottage & Terrace starting at 7 p.m. on New Years Eve! More info here.

The Austin Public Library is making new years fun for all ages by throwing a Noon Years Eve party! Take the kids to one of these three locations to ring in the new year from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on December 31. They will have a special story time, craft, and countdown.

Beerburg Brewing

Beerburg loves all the families who visit the brewery, and they know you’re looking for somewhere to take your kids to celebrate the New Year. Starting at 11 a.m. on New Years Eve, they’ll have a fun photo booth available to take pictures of your crew – even the four-legged family members! Plus, head to the beer garden at 11:45 a.m. to grab your party favors and prepare for the countdown to twelve o’clock. Live music starts at noon in the taproom, and rocks out until 2:30.
