Florida delivery driver mugged by convicted felons with dozens of charges caught on horrifying video

Two career criminals are back in jail after robbing a delivery driver earlier this month.

On Wednesday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office released a horrifying dashcam video of two men robbing an Amazon driver at gunpoint in broad daylight on Jan. 13.

Video shows one man holding a gun to a worker’s neck before climbing into the back of a truck to steal packages. The other man is outside the truck for most of the video, but he jumps out the driver’s side door as his partner sits in the back to pick up the packages.

It was later revealed that they were 22-year-old Arkimas Divinard and 23-year-old Joel Jr. Aimé.

The sheriff’s office said the Amazon driver was not injured during the crime.

Divinar and Aimé, who both have long criminal histories, share 85 felony charges and 11 convictions.

According to Florida prison records, Divinard was most recently sentenced to three years in prison for stealing a car without a firearm/lethal weapon. He was released in November 2022. His previous convictions include battery on a person over 65 and robbery without the use of a lethal weapon.

There was no entry in the Florida Department of Corrections database for Joel Junior Aime.

“We hope they stay locked up for a very, very long time,” OCSO wrote on social media.

According to Fox 35 Orlando, a witness stopped deputies after seeing a robbery near Caden Apartments on Americana Boulevard, 1953.

The publication reported that an Amazon driver told deputies that he noticed a black man standing next to the driver’s side of the truck after the delivery was completed. As the driver boarded the truck, a second black man entered the cargo area of the van and demanded that the driver hand over his belongings by pointing a gun at him.

The second man, who is mostly seen in the video, took the driver’s mobile phone and debit cards and searched the driver’s pockets for other items. Ten packages were also stolen from the truck.

Both men fled the scene in a white van. After being identified in dashcam footage, Aimé was later seen in a white Honda van and arrested.
