FHP looking for unidentified vehicle after killing pedestrian on McGregor Boulevard

Fort Myers, Florida. On Saturday morning, a pedestrian was killed in a collision between two cars on McGregor Boulevard, near the Kapok courthouse.

The driver of the pickup truck was driving west on McGregor, east of Kapok Court, around 6:18 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A pedestrian crossed McGregor Boulevard in front of an oncoming pickup truck. The car collided with a pedestrian.

After the initial collision, a second vehicle following the pickup truck also struck a pedestrian.

According to FHP, the second vehicle was a white pickup truck. After the accident, the driver fled the scene. FHP is working on vehicle identification.

The driver of the first pickup was not injured.
