Father kills wife and teenage son in apparent murder-suicide at home in New Jersey: Sources

Three family members died after a father shot and killed his wife and son before turning the gun on himself, law enforcement sources told NBC in New York.

On Tuesday morning, the Roxbury Township police went to a house in Justin Place in the Sukkasund area to conduct a welfare check. Once inside, the officers found three bodies.

Those killed have not yet been identified, but sources told News 4 that it was the father who shot his wife and teenage son before shooting himself.

Authorities said there was no danger to the public. An investigation involving the Roxbury Police Department, the Morris County Attorney’s Office and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office is currently underway.
