Fatal Trenton Shooting Leaves One Dead, Two Critically Injured

A Shooting incident that occurred in Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Trenton is currently under investigation by Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police Department. The incident happened at around 3:08 p.m. when the Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Three victims were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment. James Junior Journigan, one of the victims, later died of his injuries, while the other two are currently in critical condition.

The Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police Department have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident, and detectives have been assigned to the case.
