TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas – Tragedy struck early Saturday morning as a devastating head-on collision on SH 71 in eastern Travis County claimed the life of one individual and left another fighting for survival in the hospital, according to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS).
Promptly responding to the alarming incident at approximately 2:46 a.m., ATCEMS medics arrived at the scene situated at 4600 E SH 71, heading eastbound. The collision had caused unprecedented chaos, prompting immediate medical intervention.
