Princeton Police Respond to Fatal Car Accident on Mercer Road

Princeton, NJ – On the evening of October 4, 2023, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Princeton Police were called to Mercer Road near Quaker Road in response to a report of an overturned vehicle. Tragically, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Marc Leon from Hamilton, NJ, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the initial investigation conducted by the police, Leon was traveling southbound on Mercer Road in a 2019 Toyota Camry when the vehicle veered off the southbound shoulder. The car collided with a boulder, causing it to roll over multiple times until it came to a stop on the northbound shoulder of Mercer Road.
