Everything You Need to Know About Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Texas

That list includes New Braunfels. Founded by German settlers in 1845, New Braunfels is overflowing with old world heritage and small-town Texas charm. It’s home to Texas’ oldest bakery, oldest dance hall, and Wurstfest, an annual 10-day festival dedicated to beer, brats, and all-around good times!

Friday, November 4 • 4 to 11 p.m.

All other Fridays • 5 to 11 p.m.

Saturdays • 11 a.m. to 12 midnight

Sundays • 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Monday through Thursday • 5 to 10 p.m.

Advance General Admission Online: $18
General Admission at the Gate: $20

Children 12 and under are always free at Wurstfest!

Monday, November 7 from 5 to 10 p.m.
Tuesday, November 8 from 5 to 10 p.m.
Wednesday, November 9 from 5 to 10 p.m.
Thursday, November 10 from 5 to 10 p.m.
Sunday, November 13 from 3 to 10 p.m.

Directions:

From San Antonio:

  • Off I-35, take the Walnut Avenue exit.
  • Turn left onto Walnut Avenue and proceed to Landa Street (a little over a mile).
  • Take a Right onto Landa Street.
  • Follow Landa Street about a half mile to Wurstfest!

From Austin:

  • Off I-35, take the Walnut Avenue exit.
  • Turn right onto Walnut Avenue and proceed to Landa Street (a little over a mile).
  • Go Right onto Landa Street.
  • Follow Landa Street about a half mile to Wurstfest!

From Houston (HWY 46):

  • Off 46, take I-35 South.
  • Follow I-35 to and take the Walnut Avenue exit.
  • Turn right onto Walnut Avenue and proceed to Landa Street (a little over a mile).
  • Go Right onto Landa Street.
  • Follow Landa Street about a half mile to Wurstfest!
