Evacuation warnings issued for San Benito County
SAN BENITO COUNTY, California (KION-TV) – San Benito County has announced flooding in several areas of the county.
A flood warning has been issued for Lavers Lane, Fraser Lake, and the San Felipe area.
An evacuation center will also be open today at 5:00 pm at the San Benito County Farm Workers Association Residential Center, 3239 Southside Road. People are urged to call 9-1-1 in case of imminent emergencies.
Passengers must allow themselves to come to and from work. Road and highway flooding is likely a county warning.
“Do not drive through closed roads. Wipers on, headlights on,” the district warns.
