Emergency vehicles blocked 4 right lanes on the SB Palmetto Expressway after an accident

WEST MIAMI-DADE, FL. (WSVN) — A crash on state road 826 in West Miami-Dade has forced emergency vehicles to close lanes.

Around 5 a.m., three right-hand lanes on the southern Palmetto Expressway at Southwest 17th Avenue were closed as crews work to clear the scene on Thursday.

The highway is currently closed to four lanes as emergency vehicles clear the area.

It is not known if any injuries were reported.

Drivers should expect delays on their morning commute if they are traveling in the area.
