Elon Musk tops Bloomberg’s list of billionaires again

The title of the richest man in the world once again belongs to Tesla CEO Elon Musk. according to Bloomberg.

He reclaimed status in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index late Monday afternoon, with a net worth estimated at around $187.1 billion at the time, according to the publication. Net Worth Mask reportedly sat around $180 billion the day before.

French luxury giant LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault formerly superseded Musk from the #1 position in mid-December and has held it ever since. Bloomberg estimated Arno’s fortune at the level $185.3 billion on Monday.

In January, the Guinness World Records awarded Musk the record for the “largest loss of personal wealth,” citing a $180 billion loss between November 2021 and January 2023.

Much of Musk’s fortune is Tesla-related. electric vehicle and clean energy company where he is the largest individual shareholder.

Tesla recently said its fourth-quarter revenue was about $24.32 billion, up 37% from the same three-month period last year. The company’s earnings rose about 59% quarter-on-quarter to $3.7 billion, with earnings per share of $1.19.
