Eight people died as a result of the coup of a boat with smuggling

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA. (AP) — Eight people were killed when two migrant smuggling boats capsized off a San Diego beach.

According to the US Coast Guard, women on one of the ships called 911 on Saturday and reported that one of the ships capsized in the waves off the coast.

Coast Guard and San Diego Fire and Rescue crews pulled the bodies of eight adults from the water.

Weather conditions really prevented the search for other victims, but rescuers found two boats in shallow water off the coast.

The San Diego lifeguard said there were about 23 people on board the two boats.

No additional casualties were found in the water, and officials said some or all of the remaining passengers may have escaped across the beach.
