East Windsor Township Announces Winners of 2022 Business Awards

On July 9, 2024, in East Windsor, NJ, Mayor Janice S. Mironov took the stage to honor the exceptional achievements of local businesses in the community. The East Windsor Township 2022 Annual Business Awards were presented to Chipotle, Hightstown Elks Lodge #1955, Innovation Park, while the East Windsor Township 2023 Annual Business Awards were bestowed upon the Primrose School of East Windsor, Kimco Realty, and Getinge. These awards aim to recognize businesses that have made significant contributions to the improvement and development of the local community.

One of the recipients of the 2022 Business Award was Chipotle, recognized for their Special Contributions to Beautification Award. The General Manager Madu Goel, along with Apprentice Heet Patel and Service Leader Adriana Flores, accepted the award on behalf of the popular Mexican grill restaurant chain. Chipotle played a pivotal role in revitalizing a formerly vacant Capital One Bank pad site in the Town Center Plaza, transforming it into a modern 2,746 square foot restaurant. Not only did Chipotle create 60 new local jobs, but they also implemented commendable green sustainable practices in their business operations.

Hightstown Elks Lodge #1955 was another recipient of the 2022 Business Award, receiving the Special Community Service Award. Exalted Ruler Stephanie Spann, Trustee Charlie Stecher, and Treasurer Pat Stecher accepted the award on behalf of the organization. The local Elks have been actively involved in various community programs, including Red Cross Blood Drives, Academic Scholarship Awards, and Youth Sports Contests & Sponsorships, among others.

Innovation Park was honored with the 2022 Business Award for Special Community Enhancement. Managing Director Kyle O’Conner, Managing Director Bill Bumber, and Principal Lauren Huber accepted the award for their innovative high-tech and pharma-related business facility. Located on Princeton Hightstown Road, Innovation Park provides an attractive space designed to accommodate new and innovative companies, aligning with East Windsor’s vision for a growing technological and business community.

Moving on to the 2023 Business Awards, Primrose School of East Windsor was recognized for their Special Contributions to Beautification. Owner Rasmi Agaarwal and Staff member Shailendra Poddar accepted the award for transforming a vacant Rite Aid site into a modern childcare and early education facility. Kimco Realty received the same award for their contributions to the East Windsor Village shopping center, while Getinge was honored for their Special Community Enhancement in the medical device technology sector. These businesses have not only strengthened their presence in East Windsor but have also significantly contributed to the overall prosperity and development of the community.
