Dunnellon man dies after quad bike crash in Marion County, FHP reports

MARION COUNTY, Florida. A 32-year-old Dunnellon man died after the ATV he was driving crashed late Saturday night in Marion County, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The accident happened at 11:24 p.m. near SW 72nd Circle and SW 148th Place Road, the military said.

The ATV also contained a passenger, a 48-year-old man from Dunnellon, the soldiers said. According to preliminary information, the car collided with a tree.

The driver was taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead, police said. According to preliminary data, the passenger received minor injuries. Law enforcement officials believe that none of the drivers in the accident did not have a helmet.
