Driver injured in collision with tank truck on Daniels Pkwy

LEE COUNTY, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says one person was injured after colliding with the back of a tanker truck on Daniels Parkway Monday night.
According to FHP, it happened at 11:18 p.m. at Daniels Parkway and Fiddlesticks Boulevard.
Soldiers say a 36-year-old man from Fort Myers was driving an SUV approaching Fiddlesticks Boulevard when it crashed into the back of an empty fuel truck that had stopped on Daniels Parkway heading east.
The SUV driver was taken to the hospital.
The truck driver was not injured in the accident.
