Driver falls out of car, causing SUV to crash into home, police report.

A driver lost control of their vehicle, resulting in an SUV crashing into a house on the northwest side of San Antonio on Friday afternoon, as reported by the police. The incident occurred shortly before noon in the 4900 block of Hemphill, near Broadview and Benrus.

According to authorities, the female driver’s door unexpectedly flew open while she was making a right turn, causing her to fall out of the SUV. Consequently, the SUV collided with the side of a nearby home. Fortunately, the woman only sustained minor injuries. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) has determined this to be an accident, and no charges will be filed against the driver. Additionally, no residents inside the house were harmed.
