Development of MKT in Houston Heights, which hosts a pop-up market with free healthy food

A temporary market has opened at the MKT mall in Houston Heights, where free healthy food will be handed out.

KIND’s “Secret Farmers’ Market”, operated by KIND Snacks, will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 11 at Building 1, Office 100 at MKT, 600 N. Shepherd Dr., according to a company press release. . Visitors can get free whole foods including fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains while supplies last.

A similar pop-up market took place on February 28 and March 1 in New York.

The MKT development debuted in 2020 and includes around 50 businesses including restaurants and bars, clothing stores, and health and wellness studios.
