Deadly I-295 Crash Occurs in Hamilton Township

New Jersey State Police attended to a fatal motor vehicle crash on June 25, 2023, as confirmed by Tpr. II Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police, Public Information Unit to Midjersey.news. The incident occurred at 11:52 p.m. and took place on Interstate 295 north at milepost 63.1, within Hamilton Township, Mercer County.

According to a preliminary investigation, an unidentified driver was driving a Mercedes-Benz sedan north on I-295 in the area of milepost 63.1 when the vehicle went off the road, overturned, and collided with a sign support. The driver suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash, and their identity is being held back until family members have been notified.
