Deadly accident on the 410th loop slowed down the morning traffic

A man was trying to cross the 410 loop at Jackson Keller when he was hit by a car and killed.

SAN ANTONIO — A deadly crash involving a pedestrian stalled traffic on the 410 roundabout Monday morning near the Jackson Keller Road exit on the northwest side.

The incident happened around 4:00 am on the 410 EB loop just before the Castle Hills exit. The driver pulled over, stopping to help the victim.

This victim, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead by paramedics when they arrived at the scene.

The 410 EB loops were reduced to one lane while the police were investigating, but those lanes have since reopened and traffic is running normally.
