Highs by Monday afternoon will struggle to reach the 70s due to wind blowing behind the front. The wind will also cause some problems for boaters as the wind will pick up from the northwest at 20-25 knots. The small craft advisory remains in effect until Tuesday morning, with waves reaching up to 7 feet.

A high-pressure ridge will form over the region by Monday, and it will become noticeably cooler by dawn on Tuesday. The lows will fall from the mid 40s to the 50s in most areas. The high will remain the dominant regional player on Tuesday, with highs returning to normal in the 70s across the region thanks to offshore winds.

A deep south-southwest flow ahead of an approaching cold front will raise temperatures into the mid-80s on Wednesday.
