Child sexual abuse suspect arrested after traffic stop for road race, MPs say

HOUSTON A man arrested on Friday for street racing has been found to have a felony warrant for sexually abusing a child, deputies said.

Officials from PC Mark Herman’s office say they spotted two vehicles moving at high speed in block 22000 FM 1960.

Deputies believe that two cars raced with each other, wedged into traffic and leaving it, which almost led to numerous collisions.

A chase began for these vehicles, and after they stopped, the suspects were identified as Ulises Herrera De La Rosa and Rodrigo Fuentes.

Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that Ulises had an open felony warrant for child sexual abuse.

“Both suspects were arrested and sent to the Harris County Jail for highway racing. Ulises Herrera De La Rosa received $30,000 bail from the 11th District Court and the 230th District Court. Rodrigo Fuentes received a $100 bail from District Court 11,” Constable Mark Herman said in a statement.
