Central Coast High School All-Star Game Celebrates 37th Anniversary

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) — Rabobank Stadium will be full of top Central Coast football talent Saturday night as the 37th Central Coast High School All-Star Football Game takes place.

High school coaches from Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties nominated their best players for the big game.

“The premier high school football event on the Central Coast brings together the most outstanding high school athletes from across the region.” says chairman of the socommittee Mali Kuda. “We love football and we know that the local community wants this game to continue.”

The teams will be coached by North Monterey High School Head Coach Juan Cuevas and Coach Eric Rodriguez of Soledad High School. They brought in coaching staff from all over the district for the game.

The start is scheduled for 19:00, the gates will open at 17:30.

Both coaches have chosen to represent their respective local charity; Coastal Home Child Care and Southern District Animal Rescue. Donation boxes for charities will be placed around the stadium. The money raised will be donated to each charity after the game, and the winning team will receive a bonus donation to their cause.

Tickets are $15 entry, $10 with school ID, $10 over 65s, all junior players and cheerleaders in their youth soccer team jersey or cheerleading jacket $5 entry. Parking costs $5.
