Car crashes into coffee shop in Houston while podcasters are filming: video
HOUSTON – Two podcasters were filming their last episode in a Houston bar on Saturday when a car crashed through a window right behind them. The incident was caught on camera, and fortunately both men escaped with minor scratches.

The strange incident took place around 4:30 pm Saturday at Tout Suite, a coffee shop near Commerce and Chartres Streets in EaDo. At this time, several people were inside, but they were not injured.
Alexei Reyes and Nathan Reeves revealed they were finishing filming the fifth episode of their November Romeo photo podcast when suddenly the dining room they were sitting in became very quiet.
In the video, Reeves can be heard saying, “It’s gotten so quiet in here,” moments before the black Chevrolet Tahoe crashes through the window just behind them. The SUV appeared to have first crashed into several poles placed in front of the window, which may have prevented the vehicle from crushing the men and preventing serious injury.
“As for me, I feel like I experienced an instant shock,” said Alexei Reyes. “At first he had scratches on the glass. Later I found splinters on his arms and hair.”

“You can see in the video, I think the black SUV goes through a red light and another car, it slides sideways and then decides to turn right at us,” Reeves said. “Thank God, everything was fine, because it could have been much worse. The table was, as it were, walled into the ground, so if the car went further, I don’t even want to think about it. ”
Both Reyes and Reeves said they are grateful to be alive.
A 38-year-old woman driving a black Chevy Tahoe was charged with running a red light, according to HPD. Police say she collided with and lost control of a white Ford Escape, causing her Tahoe to crash into a bar while filming a podcast.
