Car crash ends with three deaths

COUNTY HIGHLANDS, Florida. Last night, a car accident on U.S. Route 27 in Highlands County resulted in three deaths.

The motorcycle was traveling at high speed south on US 27. The second vehicle was traveling north and was trying to turn left onto Tanglewood Drive when the front of the motorcycle collided with an SUV.

When law enforcement officials arrived at the scene, the cyclist and SUV passenger died. The SUV driver was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
