Caltrans closes various roads in Bay Area due to storm hazards

The latest winter storm system to sweep through the San Francisco Bay Area this week has resulted in the closure of various highways across the region.

As of Thursday 20:00 addresses:

East Bay:

  • Alameda County, Lane Reduction, Interstate 880 northbound near Broadway and Jackson Streets.

North Bay:

  • Napa County, one-way traffic, State Highway 128 westbound near Lower Chiles Valley Road.
  • Sonoma County, one-way, State Highway 1 near Coleman Gulch Road.
  • Sonoma County, One-Way, Northbound Lane Reduction, State Highway 1 near Russian Gorge.

Peninsula:

  • San Mateo County, full highway closure, State Highway 92, from Upper State Highway 35 to Pilarcitos Creek Road.
  • San Mateo County, lane reduction, southbound Highway 101 near Broadway.
  • San Mateo County, one-way, Highway 1 northbound near Pescadero Road.

South Bay:

  • Santa Clara County, in-situ lane reduction, State Highway 17 northbound near the Hamilton Avenue junction.
  • Santa Clara County, all eastbound lanes closed, State Route 130 eastbound near Quimby Road.
  • Santa Clara County Lane Reduction, Interstate 280 northbound near Magdalena Avenue.
  • Santa Clara County, Interstate 680 exit closure southbound near State Highway 130 and Interstate 680.
