BSO looking for suspected shooter in Lauderdale Lakes; 1 victim was taken by helicopter to the hospital

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL. (WSVN) – Bullets have been fired outside a store in South Florida, and now police are looking for a suspect.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the scene near Northwest 62nd Street and 19th Place Tuesday afternoon.

According to deputies, one person was shot dead.

7Skyforce hovered over the scene while helpers attended to the victim.

The victim was eventually airlifted to Broward General Hospital.

A search perimeter for the shooter has been set up in the area, with Bailey Road as well as State Road 7 closed to traffic.
