Brooklyn rapper charged with shooting at exclusive pool party in Glen Cove

Nassau County District Attorney Ann T. Donnelly announced today that the Brooklyn rapper was charged with possession of a weapon, assault and other charges related to the July 2022 shooting that left three people injured at a private pool party at a mansion in Glen Cove.
Remy Marshall, aka Fetty Luciano, 27, of Queens County, appeared before Judge Howard Sturim today on charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (violent crime category C); three counts of assault in the second degree (violent crime category D); Attempted assault in the second degree (class E felony); three counts of assault in the third degree (a misdemeanor category A); and reckless endangerment of the second degree (misdemeanor). The defendant pleaded not guilty, and bail was continued at $200,000 in cash, $400,000 bail, or $2 million in partially secured bail at 10%. The accused is due back in court on March 31, and if found guilty of the crime, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
“This defendant allegedly brought a loaded weapon to a crowded private event and, during an argument, emptied the weapon and wounded three victims,” said D. A. Donnelly. “Fortunately, the defendant’s alleged reckless actions did not cause life-threatening injuries to the victims and no one else was hurt. I thank the Glen Cove Police Department for their work in apprehending this accused, which led to today’s indictment.”
District Attorney Donnelly said that on July 10, 2022, at approximately 5:34 p.m., at a mansion in Glen Cove, the defendant allegedly got into a verbal altercation with someone who was attending a private pool party. Marshall allegedly left the lobby of the mansion, and a few seconds later re-entered and approached the same party-goer. The defendant then allegedly attempted to “whip the pistol” on the man’s head with a firearm, and the weapon fired, hitting three victims with a single bullet.
One victim received a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The rest of the victims were wounded in the leg and elbow. Each was treated in the hospital and released.
The defendant was arrested on July 21, 2022 in Glen Cove by members of the Glen Cove Police Department.
Marshall, professionally known as Fetty Luciano, is a Brooklyn-based rapper and alleged member of the group GS9.
The case is being handled by Senior Assistant District Attorney Michael Grebel of the Bureau of Narcotics, Firearms and Gang Enforcement. Respondent represented by Javier Alberto Solano, Esq.
The charges are simply charges and the defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty.
