Participants have two days to enjoy live music and entertainment, food and games such as rock climbing or bungee jumping. The Blue Springs Manatee Festival will also feature a dog frisbee show and environmental exhibits.

The festival offers free shuttle service to visit the gentle aquatic giants at Blue Spring State Park, a site famous for sightings of manatees.

The water temperature in Blue Spring State Park is maintained at a constant 72 degrees. The colder the temperature gets outside, the more manatees will visit in the spring.

The park has recorded up to 729 manatees visiting in the spring this year.
