Bed Bath & Beyond is closing about 150 stores nationwide, including 2 in the Houston area, the report said.

HOUSTON Bed Bath & Beyond on Thursday released a list of nearly 150 stores that will close by the end of this year.

Two of the stores listed are in the Houston area:

  • 5636 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena

  • Crossroads at 518, 2750 Smith Ranch Rd, Pearland

While no specific date has been given, both stores will reportedly close their doors within a couple of weeks. It is reported by CNN.

The recently announced closure comes after they have already closed nearly 400 stores over the past few months, including five Buy Buy Baby stores and all 49 remaining Harmon Face stores, according to a CNN report.

The total number of Bed Bath & Beyond stores will be reduced from 760 to 360, with the top-grossing stores remaining in key markets across the country.

Eight additional stores in Texas, including San Antonio and Texarkana, are included in this latest round of closures.
