BCSO employee involved in three-vehicle accident during funeral procession

Another person was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but the officer on duty is fine.

SAN ANTONIO – An on-duty Bexar County sheriff’s deputy was involved in a three-car accident during a funeral procession Thursday morning, officials said.

The accident with the motorcyclist on duty occurred on I-35 and Eisenhur during the funeral procession. BSCO said the officer was fine, but they don’t know what led to the accident at this time.

One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution. There were no other details.
