Babies at the Miami Beach Convention Center crawl to the finish line at the Diaper Derby

MIAMI BEACH, Florida. (WSVN) – According to your marks, pack up, crawl!

On Friday, the Miami Beach Convention Center hosted the annual diaper derby.

Twenty-five babies aged 6 to 12 months walked the mat to finish first.

One of them was also awarded for being the biggest crybaby on the track.

The Diaper Derby is just one of the events leading up to the 2023 Miami Marathon.

The race, which starts just before 6 am on Sunday, is expected to draw around 20,000 runners.

Participants will pass through several neighborhoods including Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell and Coconut Grove.

Many streets will be closed from Sunday morning until noon. Click here for more information.
