At least 9 arrested at rally outside NYC City Hall

At least nine people were arrested during a heated rally about gender issues at City Hall in Manhattan on Monday, cops said.

The arrests were made as about 70 people, including pro- and anti-gay-rights protesters, clashed at the event outside City Hall’s fences on West Broadway at Murray Street around 12:30 p.m.

The arrests occurred around 1 p.m. The charges weren’t immediately available, cops said.
